Vitamin C can increase the amount of zopiclone (Zimovane) that enters your bloodstream. This may make the sedative effects of the medication stronger or last longer than intended.

Why this happens
Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) can change the acidity levels in the body and may interfere with the enzymes in the liver that break down zopiclone. This can lead to higher levels of the medicine staying in your system.
What you should do
Back to contentsIf you are taking zopiclone, it is best to avoid taking high-dose Vitamin C supplements at the same time. If you do take both, be aware that you may feel more drowsy or unsteady the next day. Do not drive or operate machinery if you feel sleepy. Always inform your doctor about any supplements you are taking.

Can I take 150 and Zigduo together?
Taking aspirin (75mg to 150mg) with Xigduo (which contains dapagliflozin and metformin) can increase the risk of your blood sugar dropping too low (hypoglycaemia). It may also increase the risk of a rare but serious condition called lactic acidosis, where too much acid builds up in your blood.

Can I take Empagliflozin and Mirtazapine together?
There is no direct interaction between empagliflozin and mirtazapine. However, both medications can occasionally cause a drop in blood pressure when you stand up (postural hypotension). Taking them together might slightly increase the risk of feeling dizzy or light-headed.
