There is no known direct interaction between apixaban and flecainide. They work in different ways and are processed by the body through different pathways. However, because both drugs are used to treat heart rhythm problems (like atrial fibrillation), they are often prescribed together.

Why this happens
Apixaban is an anticoagulant (blood thinner) that prevents clots, while flecainide is an anti-arrhythmic that controls heart rhythm. They do not significantly interfere with each other's absorption, metabolism, or excretion.
