Why this happens
Azathioprine needs a certain level of stomach acid to dissolve and be absorbed properly. Lansoprazole works by reducing stomach acid, which can change how well azathioprine enters your bloodstream.

This can lead to your body holding onto too much water, which can cause a dangerous drop in your blood salt levels (hyponatraemia). Symptoms to watch for include severe headache, nausea, vomiting, confusion, or feeling very drowsy.

Taking fluoxetine with Abilify (aripiprazole) can significantly increase the amount of Abilify in your bloodstream. This makes you much more likely to experience side effects such as extreme sleepiness, restlessness (feeling like you cannot sit still), uncontrollable body movements (tremors or twitching), and dizziness. There is also a small but serious risk of a heart rhythm problem called QT prolongation.
