French Bread Pizzas with Mozzarella and Pepperoni

These French bread pizzas are a brilliant alternative to traditional dough-based recipes, offering a satisfyingly crisp base with a soft, pillowy centre. By lightly toasting the loaf before adding the toppings, the bread holds its structure against the savoury tomato sauce and melted mozzarella. The addition of fresh garlic rubbed directly onto the warm crust provides a subtle depth of flavour that perfectly complements the spicy pepperoni and aromatic basil.

As a high-protein option that comes together in under twenty minutes, this dish is ideal for a quick midweek dinner or a substantial weekend lunch. It is a versatile family favourite that can be easily customised with extra vegetables or different cheeses. Serve these golden, bubbling pizza slices alongside a fresh green salad for a balanced and comforting homemade meal.
