Seit 2000 ist Adrian in der Notfall- und Intensivmedizin für Kinder in Sydney tätig, mit besonderen Interessen in den Bereichen Toxikologie, Trauma und Wiederbelebung.
Adrian was born in the USA, raised in the UK & Germany and works in Australia. He read Chemistry at Christ Church, Oxford and then spent some years as a computer software programmer before studying for his medical degree at the United Medical and Dental Schools of Guy's and St Thomas' in London, qualifying in 1997. Currently he works for the neonatal and paediatric retrieval service in NSW which covers over 300,000 square miles and provides mobile intensive care and transport via ambulance, helicopter and fixed wing aircraft.
Seit über 20 Jahren ist Adrian Autor und Gutachter medizinischer Informationsblätter und Artikel. Er hat an mehreren australischen Leitlinien für pädiatrische Akutversorgung mitgewirkt und ist Mitautor des Lehrbuchs der Pädiatrischen Notfallmedizin (3. Auflage, Elsevier). Seit 2008 ist er Ausbilder für Fortgeschrittene Pädiatrische Lebensrettung und führt Kurse in Australien und Fidschi durch. Zudem ist er Tutor für Medizinstudenten an den Universitäten NSW und Queensland.
In seiner Freizeit reist er um die Welt und schreibt weiterhin medizinische und nicht-klinische Anwendungssoftware.
