Dr. Michelle Wright qualifizierte sich 1997 im Vereinigten Königreich und arbeitete als Hausärztin in London, bevor sie in die Schweiz zog. Seit 2007 ist sie als Autorin bei EMIS tätig.
Michelle previously worked as a locum GP in England but now works part-time as a doctor in the Medical Service of the International Labour Organisation, Geneva, Switzerland. Her work there includes carrying out medical examinations, helping with staff health queries, dealing with emergency medical situations, travel medicine and staff health promotion.
Michelle is also Medical Director of HealthFirst, a Swiss company delivering First Aid training and health education seminars to individual members of the public, schools, businesses and international organisations. She has a regular radio show "Health Matters", broadcast on World Radio Switzerland and Mountain Radio Verbier, providing health education and advice.
