Savory-to-Sweet Coffee Spice Mix

This aromatic coffee and bee pollen spice mix is a versatile pantry staple that expertly bridges the gap between savoury and sweet flavours. Combining the earthy depth of finely ground coffee with the floral notes of bee pollen and wintery warmth of cinnamon and cardamom, it adds a sophisticated complexity to any dish. The addition of dried orange peel and fennel seeds provides a refreshing zest, making it a unique seasoning for everything from morning porridge to roasted root vegetables.

As a completely vegan-friendly blend, this spice mix is an excellent way to introduce new layers of flavour into plant-based cooking. It is incredibly simple to prepare and keeps well for several weeks, allowing you to have a gourmet seasoning ready at a moment's notice. Try dusting it over roasted carrots or stirring it into a rich chocolate ganache for a surprising finish.
