Der BBS1 gene provides instructions for making a protein found in cells throughout the body. The BBS1 protein is part of a group (complex) of proteins that plays a critical role in the formation of cell structures called cilia. Cilia are microscopic, finger-like projections that stick out from the surface of many types of cells. They are involved in cell movement and many different chemical signaling pathways. Cilia are also necessary for the perception of sensory input (such as sight, hearing, and smell).

Alpha-1-Antitrypsin-Mangel
A special test known as a phenotype test can show the gene variation that a person has. People who have two copies of the Z-type faulty gene produce the least amount of normal A1AT and are most severely affected. How common is alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency. Between 1 in every 3,000 to 5,000 people in the UK haben A1AT deficiency. Around 1 in 30.

Patient information leaflet
6-in-1-Impfstoff
The 6-in-1 vaccine used to be given as the 3-in-1 vaccine DTaP along with the polio vaccine which was given by mouth, but has gradually been extended so that it now protects against even more diseases. It is given in one single injection into the thigh from one single syringe. This leaflet explains when this Impfstoff is given and why. It also.

Down-Syndrom
Down's syndrome (also known as Down syndrome) ist a genetic chromosome problem. Someone with Down's syndrome has an extra copy of chromosome 21 in the cells of their body. All people with Down's syndrome have some degree of learning disability. Down's syndrome may be detected before birth (prenatally) or after birth (postnatally). It cannot be.

Patient information leaflet
Halsrippe
About 1 in 100 people are born with an extra rib called a cervical rib. About 1 in 10 people who have a cervical rib develop thoracic outlet syndrome. This happens if the cervical rib squashes the nerves and blood vessels going into the arm. Treatment can include painkillers, physiotherapy and sometimes surgery to relieve the compression caused.

Mikrovaskuläre Angina
Es gibt no agreed definition for CSX. The underlying cause may be sudden narrowing (spasm) of normal coronary arteries without any evidence of atheromatous fatty plaques. What is cardiac syndrome X. Cardiac syndrome X (CSX) is thought to be a type of angina. In CSX chest pain is felt when the heart works harder but the heart arteries appear to be.

Typ-1-Diabetes
Typ-1-Diabetes ist the type of diabetes that typically develops in children and in young adults. In type 1 diabetes the body stops making insulin and the blood sugar (glucose) level goes very high. Treatment to control the blood glucose level is with insulin injections and a healthy diet. They include reducing blood pressure if it is high and.
