Der MYCN gene provides instructions for making a protein that plays an important role in the formation of tissues and organs during development before birth. Studies in animals suggest that this protein is necessary for normal development of the limbs, heart, kidneys, lungs, nervous system, and digestive system. The MYCN protein regulates the activity of other genes by attaching (binding) to specific regions of DNA and controlling the first step of protein production (transcription). On the basis of this action, this protein is called a transcription factor.

Der MYCN gene belongs to a class of genes known as oncogenes. When mutated, oncogenes have the potential to cause normal cells to become cancerous. The MYCN gene is a member of the Myc family of oncogenes. These genes play important roles in regulating cell growth and division (proliferation) and the self-destruction of cells (apoptosis).

Akute lymphoblastische Leukämie
There are various subtypes of ALL. For example, the abnormal lymphoblasts can be immature B or T lymphocytes. The abnormal lymphoblasts continue to divide and multiply but do not mature into proper lymphocytes. Typically, ALL develops quite quickly (acutely) and rapidly becomes worse (over a few weeks or so) unless treated. Who develops acute.

Neuroblastom
Neuroblastom ist a cancer affecting developing nerve cells. Neuroblastoma is a rare cancer und die meisten often occurs in children under 5 years old. Neuroblastoma often starts in the tummy (abdomen) but can spread to other parts of the body, especially bones, liver and skin. The treatments for neuroblastoma includ... Ursachen von Krebs
Sicher Risikofaktoren are known to increase the chance that one oder more of your cells will become abnormal and lead to cancer. How does cancer start. The body is made up from millions of tiny cells. Different parts of the body such as organs, bones, muscles, skin and blood are made up from different specialised cells. Most cells have a centre.

Patient information leaflet
Gebärmutterkrebs
It is an adenocarcinoma. Cancers developing from muscle cells in the myometrium (uterine sarcomas) and mixed tumours (carcinosarcomas) are rare and are not dealt with further in this leaflet. Cancer of the cervix is quite different to uterine cancer and is dealt with in a separate leaflet called Cervical Cancer. This builds up and is then shed.

Wiederholte Fehlgeburt
The loss of a much-wanted pregnancy can be devastating, and even more so if it happens again. This leaflet explains the definition of wiederkehrende Fehlgeburt and explores the tests und treatments that may be needed. What is recurrent miscarriage. A miscarriage is the loss of a baby before it has developed enough to survive, usually defined as before.

Blutgerinnungstests
Blutgerinnungstests are used to diagnose and assess bleeding problems and to monitor people who take warfarin or other anticoagulant medicines. You may be advised to have blood clotting tests: If you have a suspected bleeding disorder. For example, if you bleed a lot after cuts, or if you bruise easily. If you have certain liver diseases that can.
