4 red beets, peeled, diced
1,920 ml water
200 g caster sugar
1 small apple (Fuji or McIntosh), peeled, diced
1 banana, diced
1 small orange, peeled, diced
4 leaves romaine lettuce, cut into thin strips
Juice of 1 lime
How to make Lágrimas de la Virgen (Beet cooler with fruits)
Peel the beets and cut them into chunks. Pass the chunks through a juicer.
