Sauteed Broccolini with Garlic

This vibrant vegetable side dish features tenderstem broccoli, often known as broccolini, lightly blanched and then finished in a frying pan with aromatic garlic. The method ensures the stems retain a satisfying crunch while the florets soak up the fragrant olive oil and savoury seasoning. It is a simple yet elegant way to elevate a green vegetable into something truly special for any dinner table.

As a versatile vegan accompaniment, this dish pairs beautifully with a variety of main courses, from roasted meats to plant-based pastas. By cooking the broccoli in small batches, you ensure every piece is perfectly caramelised and infused with garlic flavour without becoming soft. It is a nutritious, quick-to-prepare option for those seeking a healthy and delicious homemade addition to their weekly recipe repertoire.
