There is no significant interaction between omeprazole and ramipril. It is generally safe to take these two medications together.

Why this happens
Omeprazole (a proton pump inhibitor for stomach acid) and ramipril (an ACE inhibitor for blood pressure) work through entirely different pathways in the body. They do not interfere with each other's absorption, metabolism, or effectiveness.
What you should do
You can continue taking both medications as prescribed by your doctor. As with any blood pressure medication like ramipril, you should have your kidney function and potassium levels checked regularly by your GP, but taking omeprazole does not change this requirement.
